You can include order bumps for your checkout funnel at any stage of the funnel. These instructions explain how it is set up to work for PayPal inside Mango. There are separate instructions on how to handle order bumps inside Stripe. You can find this article here.
To create an order bump for PayPal:
Use any existing page or create a new one that includes the special order bump you wish to offer inside your WordPress site. Ensure you include a button to allow the customer to accept or to decline the order bump.
Once created, simply navigate to the Mango plugin and click onto the menu item called "Order Bumps" and click onto "Add" to create a new order bump. Note, you can re-use the same page as an order bump in any funnel, so that you don't have to create them again.
Once you've clicked onto "Add" it will open a dialog where you can enter a name for the new order bump. Next, you should select the page that you want to use as your order bump from the dropdown. Then click onto "Select Yes/Accept element" and click onto any element on your page that represents that a customer accepts the order bump. Do the same for "Select No/Decline element" and select any element on your page that represents that a customer declines the order bump. To provide a smooth user experience, it's recommended to select the checkbox for "Animated overlay" and a color that fits your brand. This will add an animated transition as soon as a customer clicks to purchase your product. Lastly, select a one-time payment (Stripe or PayPal) and/or a subscription payment (Stripe only).
Then navigate to your funnel page where you wish to include the order bump and click to "Assign Payments/Plans" from the Mango menu. You will now be able to see the newly created order bump or you can select from any existing ones.
That's it, you now have added an order bump to your sales checkout funnel! Remember, you can re-use the same order bump page at any stage or inside any funnel.
